Crafted using Tama-Akane, a high-carotene variety of orange sweet potato developed over 13 years. Combining them with sweet potato flower yeast gives the shochu a fruity sweetness.

Made with Kirishima Shuzo’s original sweet potato flower yeast to highlight the Tama-Akane’s aroma.
It exudes aromatic notes of peach and orange.

Characteristics of honkaku shochu

Akane Kirishima has a peach and orange-like aroma and a fruity sweetness while also being sugar-free and purine-free.
It’s great for those who want to enjoy a drink even while on a diet.

  • まずはじめに、ミネラルウォーター等でおいしい氷をつくり、かち割り氷をご準備ください。

  • グラスに氷を山盛りに入れ、三分目まで茜霧島を注ぎます。

  • Stir slowly to dissolve the ice: three times to the right and once to the left.

  • Slowly pour in the cold carbonated water.

  • To avoid losing the carbonation, gently stir just once.

  • グラスの表面に水滴が現れたら、飲み頃です。
