The first well is successfully drilled, and later named Kirishima Rekka-sui.

Junkichi Enatsu proposes the term “Honkaku (authentic) Shochu” for Otsurui shochu at the Kyushu Traditional Shochu Association in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
