Kirishima Shuzo believes that "the best ingredients create the best flavor," and is particular about the origins of its ingredients.
"Shiro Kirishima" is sweet potato honkaku shochu made from fresh sweet potatoes grown on the Shirasu Plateau in Kyushu and the clear, cool groundwater "Kirishima Rekkasui" from the Miyakonojo Basin at the foot of the Kirishima Mountains.
Furthermore, by using "Heisei Miyazaki Yeast" Research by the Miyazaki Prefecture Food Development Center, the sweet aroma of the yeast is added,
